Jumping Jedis

If you have seen Star Wars movies, you know that Jedis can jump very high. When a person jumps, they are first exerting a force on the ground and the ground pushes back on them, propelling the person away from the ground. The average adult man can jump about 0.508 meters off the ground, while the average Jedi can jump 4.6 meters. An average man also weighs about 62 kilograms, meaning they exert a force on the earth of 607.6 newtons. Assuming a Jedi man weighs the same as an average man, they should exert the same amount of force on the ground as an average man. That being said, Jedis must have to get springs inserted in their legs and a little help from the Force in order to jump 4 meters higher than the average man.
